ABOUT / ANDRI

Curious enough to try.
Honest enough to adjust.

I’m Andri, a dad of two balancing work, family and the effort to look after myself. The Functional Health is my hobby and a place to turn that effort into something useful.

Why this exists

I want to get stronger, eat better, think more clearly and build routines I can actually keep. I also have a job, children and a life that doesn’t follow a perfectly colour-coded calendar.

This site is aimed mainly at busy fathers and other men working on similar things. You don’t need children, a gym membership or a particular starting point to find something useful here.

Learning in public

I’m not a fitness coach or health expert. I’m researching ideas, trying them, tracking what happens and sharing what I learn—including what doesn’t work.

Fitness and food are part of the picture. So are sleep, stress, focus, everyday money and the systems that make life easier to manage.

Useful before impressive

For now, this is a growing collection of articles and free tools. More guides, spreadsheets and possibly classes may come later. First, the tools need to be useful.

My experience isn’t proof that something will work for everyone. Research-based pieces will distinguish the evidence from my own interpretation.

A SIMPLE NOTE

Your routines.
Your device.

The daily starter and weekly planner store your choices, habits, check-ins and notes in your browser's local storage. This site doesn't send those entries to us or use advertising or analytics trackers.

Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to see your saved entries. Clearing this site's browser data removes them. Your entries won't automatically appear on another device.

The daily starter shows today's check-in. My progress lets you revisit daily entries saved in this browser. Daily entries and the weekly planner are separate. The planner's print / PDF option includes the selected week, not daily starter notes.

The hosting provider may process technical information needed to serve and secure the site. The public website needs no account. The separate owner-only tracker uses ChatGPT sign-in and stores its private records on the server, rather than in this browser.

If you save or print a PDF, that copy stays wherever you choose to save it.
